Avishai, and his trio have only just returned home after many amazing days on the road,
visiting so many special places like Napoli and even perform at the crater of the Volcano
‘Vesuvius’ and on other beautiful mountains in Chamonix, meeting up with many fans,
friends and other musicians on tour.

Great as always to see so many fans coming out to the concerts, joining in with singing and
dancing along with the trio – such a great vibe at every show this summer.

NEW LIVE SHOW – ‘THE HEBREW BOOK’
|
Back in 2008 Avishai released his hit album “Sensitive Hours” exclusively in his home
country Israel, a very special collection of music featuring songs sung in his native language
Hebrew. The album was an amazing success in Israel, achieving Gold sales status, gaining
massive airplay and popularity all over Israel.
|
Now, almost 15 years later, after growing a large and dedicated audience all over the world,
Avishai felt it was time to revisit those special songs & sounds live again. Featuring many of
those gifted musicians from the 2008 recording including Ilan Salem on flute and Jonathan
Voltzok on trombone, The Hebrew Book is an 6-piece band, paying tribute to Avishai own
heritage and stories of love.

“This band and music is very close to my heart. It includes my friends and many influences and inspirations that I have experienced since my childhood. Unlike other previous touring
projects, it solely has text and vocals in Hebrew which draws me closer to myself and the
deepest emotions within me.”

With The Hebrew Book, Avishai presents music from ‘Sensitive Hours’ as well as hit songs
from other international releases such as Shalom Aleichem, Shir Preda, Alon Basela, Shuvi
Elay and new music from those Bialic words and poems, and brand new compositions and
that have never been performed before live.
|
Its World première The Hebrew Book is performing at Judische kulturtage Berlin, on 15th
September.
