Avishai really enjoyed being on tour again with his great friend Makoto Ozone during the recent
‘Amity Duet ‘ tour completed throughout Europe. Thank you to all the mass of fans that turned out for this unique music and shows.

A further Duet concert is scheduled in Madrid, Spain on 28th April but already sold out!

After a short break at home. The news is that later this month Avishai will be back in the recording studio in Gothenburg Sweden, to record a new album which will be released later this year, stay tuned via this newsletter and Avishai own social media to be among the very first to receive more news…

Avishai will hit the road again from Mid-March with his trio Roni Kaspi on drums and Guy Moskovich on piano, they will be performing in France, Germany and Spain… A couple of weeks later the trio will continue with an extended Japanese tour. Tickets are selling fast for all shows.

More live shows with his trio, Banda ‘Iroko’ and Two Roses ( Orchestral ) will be confirmed soon inmajor cities such as Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Olso and Tel- Aviv… stay tuned!

New dates have recently been added to the schedule such as Tournai Jazz Festival.

As from end of April you can catch Avishai and his Banda ‘Iroko’ who will return to Europe for an extensive tour… from 29 th April, kicking off in Basel Switzerland, followed by performances in Austria, Luxembourg, France, Holland and Portugal.

This July, Banda ‘Iroko’ will be back for a run of shows including; Friday 12th July at the North Sea Jazz Festival, Rotterdam which has just been confirmed.

Avishai’s DRUMMER, Roni Kaspi has just won a prestigious award ‘Jazz Drummer of the year 2023’ nominated and voted by the many readers of Drumeo magazine.

She was nominated together alongside jazz drum masters, Brian Blade, Kendrick Scott, Antonio Sanchez and Yussef Dayes.

So big congratulations Roni.
