Avishai had an amazing time being on the road in February with his trio Guy Moskovich and Roni Kaspi.

After 2 sold out concerts in Benelux, Avishai and his trio travelled to Japan for a series of
shows at the Blue Note Club Tokyo, with a finale evening alongside Makoto Ozone to
present their world première of ‘the Amity Duet’.

While we are desperately waiting for the sun to get warmer in many parts of the world,
Avishai is very happy to share with you his new single ‘The Healer’, with Abraham Rodriguez Jr

Avishai will present his new project live on stage on 12 March in Paris, Le Chatelet (the
concert is already sold out!) and at the end of April he will complete a week long residency
with this new banda at the New York Blue Note Club ( 25^th – 30 ^th April 2023) 2 shows per night.

‘Iroko’ realizes Avishai Cohen’s longtime dream “to do a Latin project with one of his favourite Latin musicians from New York City. ” The Israel based bassist-singer and master conguero-vocalist Abraham Rodriguez Jr. brim with tunefulness, grooves, warmth, indelible melodies
and the bonds of brotherhood to summon Yoruba gods.

“Iroko is a long-time dream I have had since knowing and playing with Abraham Rodriguez Jr., a great, unique singer, congero and master of Afro Caribbean music in its full spectrum,” notes Cohen, “to do a Latin project with my favourite Latin musicians in New York. It starts with this concept… just me and Abi.”
