Dear fans,

Avishai and his trio had a great time during their recent tour in March performing in France, Belgium, a short hop to the UK, followed by shows in Germany and Switzerland. 

All shows were heavily attended and it was so good to see so many faces and listening ears from the audiences all over enjoying ‘Brightlight‘ alongside totally new Avishai crafted compositions.

Now a short break !

Avishai will hit the road again later this month with his new young Quintet!

Avishai will introduce to you a new generation of rising stars on stage, whom are connected and been influenced by his music over several years.

This hand picked line up will perform new Avishai compositions, fan favourites and a few surprise tunes during the shows ,exposing the young fresh talent on stage highlighting their versatility and energy.

Introducing Itay Simhovich just 21 years old, is a highly talented pianist who Avishai recently discovered, who will be touring with him extensively over the coming year in trio and the quintet.. Embracing the stage Yonatan Voltzok, a big band leader and composer whose powerful trombone solos have impressed mentors such as Jimmy Heath and Slide Hampton. Saxophonist Yuval Drabkin recently supported Avishai with his unmistakable sound in recordings for film and is also very present on the band leaders latest album “Brightlight”. And finally to complete the 5tet a recent addition on drums Yali Stern just 20 years old, whom has his own unique sound and special energy.

From mid May the music worlds of Avishai and the Metropole Orkest, conducted by Jules
Buckley will come together for six unique concerts in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. This unique collaboration for the very first time will perform at TivoliVredenburg, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, Paiais de Beaux-Arts de Charleroi, Amare, Het Concertgebouw and the Philharmonie in Essen, Germany.

When you combine the Metropole Orkest and its chief conductor Jules Buckley to Avishai
musical universe you have an unforgettable event on each occasion. Known for their ability
to transcend genres and push musical boundaries, the orchestra will provide a rich, creative
and dynamic addition to Avishai enchanting music with new arrangements to personally
selected works from Avishai vast catalogue of music.
